This might not correspond to the final product… teehee ♥
Hi there everybody! Here’s the Cat and the Fox together at long last to start bringing you posts more often! This marks the beginning of a true team-ness feeling for this blog! Woohoo!!!
Truth be told, it always saddened us that there was no true way to show that these posts are actually written by two people/pests so we hope the adding of our avatars will change that!
Yep, this feels a lot better! So today we’re dropping this quick concept art for a future pinup. We usually discuss an idea, then we do a quick character study until we’re satisfied and then we add a bit of colours.
We might tweak the colours when we get closer to the final product but what matters is getting a feel for the character first.
This is it for now! If you have any questions for us don’t be shy! We’ll be more than happy to reply the best we can. And now back to celebrating this success and more to come soon! Bye everyone!
What warm light is this? Is the weather warming up?
Hah, as if the reason for our silence was sweet rested hibernation, no, not at all… How did the saying go… No rest for the weary?(no, not the wicked…) Rightly so, but we are far from complaining as health is finally being recovered, the new place is very comfy and sunny and we are happily busy since the beginning of this year!
We just returned from an event, Dia do Japão (Japan’s Day) organized by the Liga de Estudos Asiáticos at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon) We loved the day and met wonderful people, some don’t know how close they were of being hugged to death unconsciousness, stuck on our pocket and taken home♥ we want to thank everyone at the lovely organization for all the attention and care they provided us!
We didn’t get the chance to take many pictures but here’s at least one of them♥
We hope everyone has been treated well by 2017 up to now and if not, we hope things start getting better from here on.
Have a great week and take care!★★
And here we are at the end of our first Inktober ever and what a wonderful ending, to end it with Halloween!
It’s been a wonderful journey. It taught us a thing or two about time management and helped us to beat some doubts and fears when doing traditional work. We hope to keep improving and keep reaching for our trusty pens and not just the digital tablets!
We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of you that have been coming to our blog. We are humbled by seeing so many of you coming back to check our things and keep connecting by chosing to follow our work! Really, thank you so very much! We hope to soon give you the chance to win a little thank you gift so stay tuned!
And now get your witch’s hats out, grab some candy and do the zombie shuffle! Woo! Happy Halloween!!
Day 04 and we’re on time!
After momentarily losing track of this drawing midst reorganizing a desk (indeed fitting the nature of this sneaky character) we finally found it just in time for the photo… It’s ok to wonder if she’s smiling happily or mischievously plotting ♥
